THE THREE STAGES OF LIFE CHANGE

The three stages that were to change my (and thousands of others) life.
(1) Enlistment notice, that popped through the letter box when you were least expecting it,
including a rail travel warrant and an advanced payment of 4 shillings !!
(2) The medical (Cough twice and you're in).
(3) The best one of all....the Discharge papers, it was long wait but worth every minute.
Just couldn't wait to hand all the kit into the stores.
Looking back..it wasn't too bad, was it?
